​SlipKnits Class Details

Registration:

You can register on our website with a credit card or Paypal, or you can sign-up in person at SlipKnits. When a class fills, we will schedule another.

Materials/Preparation

Class materials (not included in class) may be purchased for a 10% discount before the day of your first class. Thank you for shopping locally and supporting SlipKnits and your fiber community!

 

• • Please plan ahead so that we have what you need and you are ready for your first class!

We ask you arrive 10 minutes early so the class may begin on time.••

 

Class Size:  Class sizes are determined by the class subject. It is important that each student gets what they need!  Lecture(s) and workshop will also have limits based on space available.

 

   ••• We offer kids classes for our younger customers - start them young! •••

Fiber is a lifelong skill.

 

Homework: Some of our classes require homework before your first class. The class description page on our website will list all homework required for your class. Please complete homework prior to your first class. Please note, most classes have “goals” between session, please do your work, this keeps each project progressing on schedule for the whole class.

 

Payment: Payment is required at time of registration. Unfortunately, we can no longer reserve seats for unpaid students. Online registration on our website with a credit card or Paypal is preferred, or you can sign up at SlipKnits. When a class fills, we will schedule another.

 

Missed Classes: We are unable to offer free make-up sessions for missed classes or for cancellations (with the exception of weather). After payment is taken, we cannot credit your class fee if you cancel less than one week prior to your class. 

 

No credit will be given if you cancel for a special event or class. You may gift to another person, just let me know!

 

SlipKnits will cancel classes with only one student registered 48 hours prior to first class and a full refund will be given.

 

 

The Loose Ends: Class & Event Details at SlipKnits

  1. Each class must have at least two (2) registrants for class to be held.

  2. Your space in a class will be official once your class fee has been paid. 

  3. If you must cancel a class, we require at least 1 week notice before the start of class in order to receive a full refund of your class fee. If you cancel your attendance in a class 48 hours from the class date, you will be eligible to receive a 50% store credit of the class fee.

  4. In case of inclement weather, we may have to reschedule or cancel a class.

  5. In cases where SlipKnits cancels an entire class, you will receive a text and or email, as well as a full refund of your class fee if class is cancelled.

  6. Class supply lists, samples, and additional class information will be available in the store and on our website.

  7. We do our best to keep class prices as low as possible, in return, we require that you purchase all class supplies through SlipKnits.

  9. All registrants for SlipKnits Classes and Events give permission for SlipKnits to use their likeness in photographs, social media posts and future marketing materials. If you wish to be excluded from photos and media, please make this known to SlipKnits prior to attending any event.
