          Wednesday Flock Gathering is a project based group that works towards  gaining new skills while making pretty things!

Thursday: OPEN 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  (Curious Crocheters 10am-Noon)  (Flock Gathering Noon - 5:00pm)

           Curious Crocheters is a crochet group that accepts the challenge of taking crochet to the highest levels.

          This is the newest Flock Gathering time. Stop in, have a cup of coffee, shake off your week and create something new or finish up a UFO!

Classes on Demand. Once in a while you come across that pattern that won’t leave your mind. You wonder “can I do this?” Yes, you can!  With 4 or more student we will create a custom class that fit the schedule. Please check with SlipKnits to schedule your group and project. 


KALs are FREE to our customers. Yarn for KALs must be purchased at Amazing Threads. KALs provide our customers an opportunity to knit in a group setting on a specific project, but KALs do not include instruction. Additional added KALs can be found on the website class schedule. 


Classes On Demand Classes On Demand (COD) are offered when teaching staff find that perfect project that they want to share with our customers.

 KALs and CODs are updated in our weekly blasts and on our website. 


Knit & Crochet Help Desk Many people stop in for a quick fix on a project and we try to get them back on track. Often we are just too busy to help on-the-fly. Throughout the year, we provide an expert to help with QUICK FIXES. The Help Desk is for simple fixes for customers knitting on yarn purchased from Amazing Threads. We want you to love your project. Let one of our staff help you get on track and make your project soar. We have “Knit with the Expert” available by appointment for those needing more than a quick fix. Dates and times can be found in our weekly newsletter or posted on our website.

Yarn Buy-Back: As of August 1, 2017 we are no longer buying back yarn skeins. We DO STILL encourage you to buy enough at one time to complete your project!  (Our semi-annual yarn swap is a great way deal with any extra skeins you may have acquired!) Store credit may be available for NIP yarns bought at Slip-Knits.

A Beginner: You have never knit or crocheted anything in your life, or maybe you took a class years ago - made a few things, enjoyed it and now would like pick it up again.
